Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

If in Savannah for any reason...you have to eat at the Pirate’s House. I recommend the Shrimp & Grits....it was awesome. I can’t wait to visit it again.
The people were all very friendly. The seafood is better than the fried chicken....it was greasy and too sweet...honey and pecans on top...not very good. Of course it is the location and history of the place that is the big draw.
Came here with my family from Florida and let me tell you it was AMAZING! Will be recommending this place to other people visiting Savannah. The food the whole atmosphere was on point. We loved it!
All the food was great, especially the Turkey and the Greens. However for dessert they were missing the pumpkin pie ☹️. So the German Chocolate Pie was my go to dessert.
