My family have been staying here for several years. We have always enjoyed ourselves. Matter of fact in the next month or so I will be making our week of July the 4th vacation reservations.
That's where I want to live when I retire. Love, love, love it there!
Have been coming to Pirateland for 7 years now, we refuse to go anywhere else, love Pirateland , period.
On October 1st 2015 my family and another family called to cancel our reservations due to the impending historic flooding in the area. We were not only charged a cancelation fee but also charged a nights stay. This is totally unacceptable. I chose not to risk my family's safety and heed the warnings and am charged for it? Have camped at Pirateland for 25+ years with my family. Wouldn't think of camping anywhere else, but a traffic light is desperately needed. Come on Myrtle Beach help us out, Lakewood has one and so does Ocean Lakes. With the increase in traffic it is dangerous pulling out onto 17 with 30ft of trailer behind you.
We stopped in to look see what the campground looked like for a future trip. Thanks to Kari for her info and help. A future trip here seems likely!
This was our favorite stop on our week long rv road trip and oh what a place! Oceanfront views, good people, great convo, relaxin vibes and an amazing staff! Thanks to kendeshia who checked us in and made a great impression which lasted the entire trip! We will absolutely back! See you soon !
This was our first time ever staying at Pirateland. We booked an oceanfront spot several months ago for Labor day weekend only to get there and be told that someone else had broken down in our spot and they would have to give us another one (not on the ocean). I have to say that John went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and Ms. Becky was just as sweet as she could be! First Time at Pirateland and really appreciating the site. Kendeshia welcomed us so well it started our vacation perfectly. Even though weather is not great so far, the villa is perfect for our needs. Our next vacation in MB will definitely be in Pirateland.
