Been camping there for 40 years and watched it really grow. My best memory's are of the family. My dad Fulton Peeler 1934-2012 loved this place. He made many friends here and couldn't wait to see them again.
Best place ever! :-) my family and I starting coming in 2006.now its a family tradition!We absolutely love Pirateland.Many activities to do to keep us busy,even if we are having a lazy day,its nice to just sit outside at the camper and relax! :-)

Pirateland is the best, spent the last two years there for the month of September and love it, the staff is great. Hollis, Mandy, and Vickie, were always very helpful, great place to stay, forget the condos.
I love Pirateland & we stay a month every year. The sites are wonderful & staff is great. There is a very large clean laundry but there lies my only complaint. No laundry carts to move wet clothes from washer to dryer. I have requested them every year but no results. Also there are no paper towels or sink. Doing laundry would be so much easier with these few improvements.
My family stayed here Sept 12th and 13th weekend. My oldest daughter is disabled. Pirateland was VERY handicapped accessible! They had a chair that can roll on the sand that we used to get her to the beach (first time she was able to do this), we didn't use the pools but they had a lift if I had wanted to get my daughter in it, and the roads between the sites were easy to push her wheelchair through. We came for the first time last Friday and spent the Labor Day holiday there! So happy we did! It was awesome!! The pool girl Heather was so amazing and a hard worker! Hard to find good workers and she is one! Looks like she loves her job! Looking forward to coming back!
Nice campground. However need to do a better job keeping ice cream and frozen drinks stocked up. Otherwise it's a nice facility
