Awful Restaurant !!! Don't ever go – When we arrived at first seemed like a fairly decent restaurant but that soon all changed. The service was very slow and inadequate, the manager's daughters were running around the dining area and around the back kitchen the whole time. The silverware was dirty and out food took what seemed like forever. Please save your time and go to a true fine restaurant.

Fabulous food, great people – My family has been going to Pino's for years. Every time we walk in we are greeted with warmth and the personal grace of Pino. I was shocked to read the reviews of one of our favorite restaurants in the area. I have an allergy to garlic and therefore, Pino has always helped adjust the dishes for me so I can enjoy dining there. I have eaten at several major restaurants - not chains, but places such as Aurole in Vegas and New York - where this was not possible by the kitchen staff. Pino cares abou... read more

Some Important Details Left out on 3/14/2008 – Some pertinent facts about the evening that the author ("horrid") failed to mention about their visit... 1) Upon arrival, the daughter (who got there first) was offered a table toward the back by the hostess and she refused it, hence, the table they were seated at 2) The guests were told that the table offered to them was the only one available to accomodate a party of 6 guests because of incoming reservations setup for the evening for other larger parties; she claimed she did n... read more

Scolded – We went as a family (6 of us) to Pino's on Friday at 5:30 PM. There were two reserved tables and two occupied tables in a restaurant that seats over 50. We were seated immediately in fron of the door which alternated between cold damp air and the roaster-like heater over the door. When we asked to move, our request was bluntly denied. We discovered that pizza's are not served in the restaurant on Fridays, but noticed that the table next to us had one. Again, we were told that they do not serve pizza on Fridays, we ... read more

Godd food, pleasant service – We went to Pino's on a Thursday night intending to try their tapas, only to find that their tapas didn't seem all that easy to share - Cauliflower Casserole and Chicken Pie? At any rate, we skipped tapas and ordered entrees, which were both very good. The Antipasto Salad was chock full of meats and cheeses and the Strata was delicious. We also ordered a tasty appetizer of Risotto Cakes and a decadent Tiramisu for dessert. The restaurant seemed to be full of people from the neighborhood who knew ... read more

Quality ingredients, casual and neighborly atmosphere – Because I work within walking distance of Pino's, it's been a favorite lunch-spot for several years, but has recently become one of our favorite dinner choices as well. The lunch menu has a fairly wide selection with very reasonable prices. Their salads are a lunchtime favorite because of their remarkably fresh greens and the quality of their vegetables. But a selection of simple Italian sandwiches on foccacia and pizza (by the slice or pie), make it a great alternative... read more

Excellent Food – My husband and I visit Pino's regularly. The food is always excellent, and there are plenty of creative dishes. Every guest we have brought there has been pleased. The only downside is their often inexperienced waitstaff, who aren't always as attentive or professional as they should be.

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had – I cannot believe how horrid this restaurant is. After waiting 2 + hours for the meal (and the fourth person in our party did not receive his entree until 15 minutes after the rest of us), we tried to discuss the situation with the chef. He proceeded to insult us in front of the entire restaurant. An apology or update during the wait time would have helped, but instead we were forced to pay the entire bill for a terrible meal and a scolding from the chef. With so many great places... read more

night of rudeness – I ordered the bolognese which is my favorite pasta dish. My dish arrived, cold, with large peices of hard uncooked past that I couldn't get my fork through. The waitress was kind and took the dish back and bring out another plate of bolognese. The 2nd plate was the same. The waitress was very apologetic and said she would speak to the chef. Chef Pino's wife came out and scolded me. She said that she made the farafelle pasta and that is how it should be. I explained that it was not edible based on the hard ... read more
