fair – The woman who owns this could not be nicer. The remodel of this place looks great and its very clean, but the food is a bit bland. The head chef (perhaps Pino) was very rude to a man at another table next to ours and an argument ensured. It made my dining experience tense and unpleasant. I did enjoy the beans and greens and the beer selection.

Beans n Greens @ Pino's Disappoints IN A BIG WAY! – I can't believe the food that just came by way of Wheel Deliver from this "restaurant" called Pino's in Point Breeze in Pittsburgh. I love Beans n Greens and I've eaten it all over Pittsburgh and the world.. but never hav I eaten anything like this. The Beans n Greens was as if someone had filled upn the container with water and threw soggy greens into it with some beans. There was ZERO flavor. I would rather eat wet bread - it has more flavor. Absolutely horrible! I got a ... read more

CHUNK OF GLASS FOUND IN PASTA DISH – I found a piece of glass at the bottom of my pasta dish. Inexcusable. Dangerous. Unless you like glass served hidden in your dish, stay away from Pino's!!

So fantastic I became a 'regular'! – I stumbled into Pino's not long after moving to Pittsburgh for a second time, and though the place is not technically an 'Italian' restaurant, its pasta dishes and southern Italian fare are simply incredible! My Italian grandmother swears by this place, and she's notoriously picky, having since informed me that she wishes the other restaurants in PIttsburgh could stand up so well. I think her first words after eating anywhere else have become "it was alright, but it wasn't Pino's". The we... read more

great pasta – My wife and I have been going to Pino's at least twice a month for the past 5 years. Why do we go back? Because the pasta dishes are the closest of any restaurants to those made by my 96 year old Italian mom. My wife thinks the flat breads and pizza are to die for. Their specials are so far above the ordinary and mundane found in so many restaruants. Joe and Jen are such gracious hosts they make us feel as if we are a part of their family. The wait staff is not only good, but they are nice people. Why do I go ba... read more

A Great Neighborhood Italian Bistro in Point Breeze – One of the nicest things about living in Point Breeze is having Pino's as one of our special neighborhood restaurants. The food is great and the atmosphere is inviting and open even if it is a bit noisy. The upgrades Joe and Jennifer have made recently improved on an already pleasant experience. The menu offers a lot of variety and everything we've tried has been delicious. It's also nice to walk in with our own favorite bottle of wine.

Amazing Food! – We love Pino?s! It is our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. We recently moved to Point Breeze and are so excited that we can now walk here. We are truly lucky to have such a great restaurant in our neighborhood. They have the BEST brunch, pizza, lunch, entrees and deserts in town. The owners are so creative and have the most delightful culinary specials all year long. Whenever possible they use organic, locally raised meats and locally grown produce. If it is busy it may take a little longer to get your food... read more

A family favorite – One of the pleasures of moving to Pittsburgh has been the discovery of several family-owned restaurants where very good food is available at very reasonable prices. Pino's has become one of our favorites. Everything on the menu (including the bread and desserts) is made from scratch, from fresh ingredients. The pizza and pasta are great, but don't stop there -- the owner-chef has a creative streak, and can produce the kind of food you would expect at much more upscale eateries. (Try going on Tapas Thursda... read more

Pino's is perfection! – I cannot believe the comments that I have read in some of the reviews on Pino's. Pino's is fabulous! My husband and I were lucky to find this gem of a place four years ago this month. We live in the North Hills and travel 30 to 40 minutes to dine there. We use to go at least twice a month but now that the kids have so many activities we can only get there every 6 wks or so. And believe me it's the highlight of my week when we are able to go! Jen and Joe are two fantastic people. They make all of their... read more
