Great Ranger Station Staff! Our vehicle broke down descending at mile marker #9 today....the staff came to our aid very quickly and got us and our vehicle down safely. Everyone was very kind right down to the tow truck and taxi drivers that they called for us.
It was very beautiful. Cold in Sept but worth it. Ride the cog train.
Beautiful place....it was an unforgettable ride through pikes peak highway..we just loved it...Be sure to check weather before u go..
Everyone needs to take the drive, but whoever is driving needs to keep the re en eyes on the road!
Such a Beautiful place with breath taking views winding roads and pull offs to park.
Spectacular scenery especially with the snow: Wonderful photo opportunities with plenty areas to stop & admire the vast landscape.
A place always remembered! Last visit we took my Sister Jacquie their for her final visit. With the blessings of the National Park Service. She is a part of me and will always be their waiting for my next visit.
It os one of my most favorite places in Colorado. Spending tome fishing on any of the 3 lakes in the north slope recreation area is my favorite past time. I wish your fishing seasons were longer, like they used to be many years ago. Tough to not be able to enjoy the "Peak" more due to park funding being decreased over the years. It is after all, America's Mountain. It is one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
