An amazing outting. Anyone in the area of Colorado Springs should put this on their to-do-list. I would have loved to had more places to stop for photographs.
What a great experience. Some advice to those who get elevation sickness. Take 600 mg of ibuprofen after breakfast and just before you get to the gate to pay the entrance fees take 600 mg more of ibuprofen. I felt nothing!
Pikes Peak, America's Mountain needs to be an inspiring travel destination for everyone. The experience of being on, traveling up and down this mountain, via a bicycle, or on the hiking trails, or the COG railway, or the toll road, any way will be a journey never forgotten.
