We enjoyed our dinner at Pikes Landing. We had mussels, clams & shrimp as a starter and salmon for main with mousse for desert. Food was well cooked and service friendly.
There was a long wait for the waitress to clear a table even though she knew we were waiting. Really poor waitress service. We had to get our own drink refills. The food was dry and overcooked and not what was expected due to the reputation of Pikes. My biggest concern is the pasta salad which was not labeled and contained crabmeat and shrimp which are anaphylactic allergies for me. Definitely not worth $24 99 per person. Sorry Pikes.
Misty was amazing and made my mom Mothers Day amazing by being on top of getting our table that disappeared back. Any server who treats my mom is damn fine thank you to PL Staff.
We made reservations this time and got seated right away :) But the line to the buffet was super long. We tried to go up for 2nd's but the line was too long and the plates were still dirty so we had to pick and choose the cleanest/dirtyest plate. Food was par. We love Pikes for the deck so we'll continue going back because Fairbanks is our home. Next time, we'll make reservations for dinner so we can get the best for our money. Happy Mothers Day to all!!!
The wife and I stayed here was awesome food and the rooms were great
Food was cold waited well over an hour. They had to comp a burger it came out 10 minutes after everyone else's food. Service was horrible.
Food was fairly good and service was great! I had my usual Caesar's salad with broiled salmon which was kind of dry this time, my son from MI had Halibut sandwich and other son had steak, tower appetizer was kind of skimpy, should have more than 3 shrimps and more than 3 mushroom caps (should double the number considering the price charged for tower! We usually come for the deck, great on a nice sunny day!
