About this business
A native Georgian, Pete Pike became interested in the nursery business in the mid-1950s. He started his business with three employees and a 200 ft. by 200 ft. location on Highway 41 in Marietta, Georgia. Times were so hard in those days that he and his employees borrowed water and restroom facilities from the gas station next door. Today, Pike Nurseries is comprised of 400 employees in the peak seasons at 15 retail stores in Atlanta and Charlotte, a landscape installation/design service and a planting service.

RecommendedWe take advantage of the Christmas Special. A beautiful fresh tree, a wreath, and 2 Poinsettias all for 1 price. We like to put our tree up early and leave it up through the twelfth night. When our tree came down it was still alive and fresh smelling. In the spring the container gardens are beautiful and long-lasting. We love the Pikes on Roswell Road.

OMG- 12 trees delivered today. They knocked it out AND most importantly did not disturb my landscape fabric IR leave red ga. Clay on my pine straw . Samuel, Brandon and Christian are a great crew and they really take pride in their work. WELL DONE
I really like Pike but... Just before mothers day they put Hibiscus on sale. Went by they had very few and most of them were pretty ragged. The next Sunday (a week later) a sale ad came out in the AJC. Hibiscus 30% off. Only a very few and mostly ragged plants were at the Roswell Road (Marietta) store. And the attendant said they would get no more in. If you advertise a sale, please have some stock!! Please do not waste my time. Pike should be better than this.
This is my 3rd year getting a Christmas Tree from Pike and have been very happy. However, this year my tree seems to be from a bad batch (if that is even a thing?). I have been watering using preservative, etc and it is dropping, dry and needles are falling like crazy. I am so disappointed that I may need to go buy another tree 6 days before Christmas. Not sure if I will utilize them for next year. I have also talked to a few other customers who have had this issue.
