If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The manager of Citigate Apartments, Inez, is rude and does NOT care about the customers whatsoever. I'll list the issues I faced, because that's how many I had. 1. ALL of the lights in the stairwells were completely out for 6 MONTHS. So, every night coming home from work, as a young girl alone, I was forced to get to my 3rd floor apartment in complete darkness. I mean, I couldn't even see the key hole that's how dark it was. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I moved here in June 2018 at that time they advertised free utilities, until you signed the contract with them they will add $125 universal fee on top of your monthly rent, which is to cover all your utilities. It is a red flag right in the beginning. Because we moved in from out of state, we did not see the actual apartment until the move in date, it is a very old apartment and smelly hallway, carpet is so old and stinky every time it rains, the smell is terrible. I am writing this review with extreme frustration and at this point I will be taking further action against your company. My lease ended 6/30. Since this date, we have called to confirm that you all have our forwarding address. We have provided the address many times to the staff who answers the phone. The staff who answers the phone says that he/she will provide the forwarding address to the property manager and will have the property manager call us back. When I moved into Hideaway Lake "Luxury" Apartments my apartment was FILTHY.Candy stuck to my carpets, a band-aid in my garage, a Q-tip in my dishwasher, dust everywhere. The management said it was "move in ready". Absolutely not true, as time passed * have tried to contact JRK at their home office and the residential residency hotline just rings and rings and rings. We have lived at Waterford at Goldmark apt for four years! It was once a beautiful property with a ,beautiful pool.ALAS,it has into disrepair,the pool is filthy and not usable most of the time,no staff maintains it,prostitutes and felons come and go on the property! Management will not even try to stem this.The elevators are in shaky condition,sometimes out for three weeks at a time.alot of tenants are elderly ð?§? and disabled ! This company RIPS OFF CONSUMERS by holding ENORMOUS application fees for a long period of time. The tenant relations department is run by ONE PERSON to handle all tenants in their multiple apartment complexes. This person is also the manager to speak to with a complaint about anything else. ONE PERSON. I've sent multiple emails and left voicemails over the past month, with ZERO REPLY

Stay far away from these people and the properties they own. I was an employee and a resident in their community, TerraMar in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and have never seen such unprofessional and illegal acts before. This office is run on deceit and lies. I watched cash being accepted from residents which was against the rules. I watched as applications were altered for residents to be accepted. I was lied to as a resident there, and as an employee. My sink has been leaking for a year, it has been actively leaking into my floor for over a week. I have reported it several times and I was told they are off for 4th of July and can't do anything about it. There is black mold in the heaters and windows. My AC/heater unit has been broken for months. My oven hasn't worked for months. My bedroom AC caught fire at the plug and almost lit my bookcase on fire.

Poor property management. Corporate seem to not care about tenants, and good staff. There is a high turn over rate for tenants and employees. From the outside the apartments are beautiful but living in these properties is a nightmare.
