Great Catering Operation – I have used Pico's before for a casual team dinner and it was perfect. This time I used them for a dressier event. The food is always good but I was especially pleased with the presentation. They walked in and transformed my kitchen into an inviting upscale Mexican buffet. I didn't have to lift a finger and everything was enjoyed by all.

Best Caterer's Ever! – The food was wonderful, the margaritas were the best, and the service was outstanding! Pico's catered our celebration in honor of our grandbabies Baptism and we had guests from Houston as well as lots of family from out of town. I wanted something a little different than the usual Mexican food, and they certainly delivered! All our guests raved about the delicious food, it was a huge hit! And everyone loved the margaritas. I will definetly use Pico's again!

Best ever! – The food, service, setup were spectacular. I received more compliments on our party at the house than on all the other catered events we had last weekend in honor of my children's bar mitzvah. I can't wait to host another event so that you can cater it!

must have been an off day--way off day – My husband and I went on a week day for lunch after a doctor's appointment.. There were maybe 3 other people in the restaurant. We're adventurous eaters. My husband had the enchilada mariscos which were fair--to be kind in this review. I had the sincronizadas [this is what's printed on my bill] based on the waiter's recommendation. Great Mexican food, and catering as well ! – We love Pico's and eat there frequently, Recently they catered an event for around 70 people at our home. The food (fajitas, Charro beans, rice, pralines, Queso, guacamole) and Margaritas were outstanding! We were so pleased with the service--all of the Pico's staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to our guests. I recommend that you try the restaurant--and if you want a great Mexican Fiesta--give them a call !

Food and Service was good....Chips and Salsa, not so much. – After hearing all the chatter about Pico's Mexican Restaurant, I was eager to try it out. I usually dine at El Patio or Molinas on Westheimer. Both very good, but wanted to see if there was something better out there. Walked in was greeted immediately by two smiling employees. Possibly the best – Why are all the good places in bad areas? Pico's is simply a great mexican food restaurant. Amazing food and the drinks... wow! Not only are the margaritas appropriately strong, but they are blended to perfection with fresh lime juice. This place is everything corporate Tex-Mex restaurants are NOT. A true Houston institution... that lives up to it's billing.

Hole in the wall charm – Great Mexican food that wasn't Tex-Mex. Tomato salsa had a smoky flavor, guacamole was tasty and chunky, and the tomatillo salsa was exceptional with it. I would definitely recommend the enchiladas de mariscos. It was stuffed with shrimp and crab and creamy cheese. Margaritas were tasty as well; I recommend the Ultimate. It's tiny and you are surrounded by mariachi but was authentic, which makes it exceptional to me.
