Food and Service was good....Chips and Salsa, not so much. – After hearing all the chatter about Pico's Mexican Restaurant, I was eager to try it out. I usually dine at El Patio or Molinas on Westheimer. Both very good, but wanted to see if there was something better out there. Walked in was greeted immediately by two smiling employees. Possibly the best – Why are all the good places in bad areas? Pico's is simply a great mexican food restaurant. Amazing food and the drinks... wow! Not only are the margaritas appropriately strong, but they are blended to perfection with fresh lime juice. This place is everything corporate Tex-Mex restaurants are NOT. A true Houston institution... that lives up to it's billing.

Hole in the wall charm – Great Mexican food that wasn't Tex-Mex. Tomato salsa had a smoky flavor, guacamole was tasty and chunky, and the tomatillo salsa was exceptional with it. I would definitely recommend the enchiladas de mariscos. It was stuffed with shrimp and crab and creamy cheese. Margaritas were tasty as well; I recommend the Ultimate. It's tiny and you are surrounded by mariachi but was authentic, which makes it exceptional to me.

Pico's Is The Best in Texas! – Pico's is an amazing restraunt! It has such a fun atmosphere. It's a great family place for special ocasions or just for dinner. The service is friendly and fast. I love going to Pico's with my friends and family for a great Mexican dinner.

The Best Pico's Mex-Mex Resturant – This restaurant is WONDERFUL. i have been going since the beginning and have always had a GREAT experience. Now the food is the BEST, when my family is in town that is our PLACE, when feeling bad the soup COMFORTS me, on my birthday that is where you will find ME and that being said all I can Say is go find out for yourself.

The BEST chile con queso in the world! – I've been going to Pico's for years and it is my favorite restaurant in Houston by far. Their chile con queso is indescribable- it's the best in the world! I went to college in Washington DC and EVERY time I come home I have to go to Pico's to get my chile con queso fix- I've yet to find a place that can rival them! I also know the owners personally, and they are the nicest family. The service is always great, and if you're lucky, you'll get live music at your table! And mmmm, the tor... read more

Simply the best – Our favorite dishes like caldo tlapeno and chalupas tex-mex always are delicious and comforting. The special menu items are more sophisticated than typical Mexican restaurant offerings. We think the margaritas are the best in the city. The service is attentive, warm and friendly.
