You won't eat there just once – My overall rating was a "9" because the two "8's" were actually "8+'s" & the two "9's" were actually "9+'s". Have never been disappointed with the food or service & recently had a delightful outside seat- ing area lunch. The margaritas deserve every syllable of the com- pliments they receive. If people keep missing out on PICO's it just makes it less crowded for me. Thank you.
THIS should be number one – This is a just quite simply a GREAT Mexican restaurant. The menu is diverse and authentic, well prepared and served with a smile. It's truly head and shoulders above most all the restaurants listed above it. I guess what disturbs me the most about these "list" is how few of the real Houston "gems" ever even get mentioned. Lupe Tortilla a great mexican restaurant? I don't think so, Chuy's the meat market, I don't think so. We are a city graced with hundreds of really good and authentic mexican rest... read more
MEX-MEX – I have yet to have a bad (or even sub-standard) meal at this place. Me and my friends trek from Sugar Land at least once a week to eat here. Every meal has been fantastic. The service is also great. I am dismayed that people confuse Pico's with Tex-Mex. This is REAL Mexican food, People! If you can't figure out what Mex-Mex means, keep driving to Pappasito's or Gringo's and leave the good stuff for us! THANK YOU PICO'S!!!!!
Pico's is a crowded and noisy place and not for most dates, this is for EATING!! They have the good Mex-Mex and great 'ritas. Good service, good food and good 'ritas. The price for 2 people having 2 Grande ritas or maybe 3 between them, some good supper, and a tip will run about $35. AND it's a deal, if you can't eat all of it, they fix it to take with you.
Mucho Grande - Mucho Superb – Pico's was a pleasant surprise. I'm so glad we stopped in and even gladder that I tried the MUCHO GRANDE Margarita. It was incredibly delicious and the price was very reasonable.
The absolute best – Fantastic specials, wonderful menu and spinach enchiladas to die for. No one makes 'em like Picos, no one!
BEST MARGARITAS – Pico's has the best Mex-Mex in town, and really and truly, the largest, freshest, strongest, and purest tasting margaritas I've ever had. It's consistently good. My only complaint is that the wait can be pretty long on a weekend night!
Awful!! – this has to be the worst tex-mex food i've had in a long time!! the rice was dry, the so-called burrito (nothing more than a rolled up soft taco) was hard to cut. the tortilla was not soft at all. it was drenched in sour cream. the over plate was barely luke warm. their green salsa was bad too. my guest had cheese enchiladas that need alot of spices. the prices were over rated for this type of "fast food". the waiter asked me three times was type of burrito i wanted.
Great Great Great – This place has some of the best Mole in Houston and damn good margaritas. If you have not gone you really need to.
