Kind and professional staff. But I AM NOT BEING HEARD! It’s all routine for them, but my PAIN IS REAL, GETTING WORSE, AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON CARES! I NEED REAL HELP. I’M SUFFERING! Very professional,everything is done on time(no wait)! Got good relief of back pain after the treatment. I had pretty much done everything to get relief and failed. luckily I was referred to Dr. Thakkar by a P/T !
Dr. Pico is knowledgeable, thorough and pleasant. Wait times are sometimes a bit long, but I am satisfied with overall service.
I’ve done 6 ablations 4 were great giving me almost a year without pain and reduced medication! Other 2 were for my back. Didn’t work and was told they might not because I have Scoliosis. Helpful staff explained every option. The Anastigioligist Glen was the best I’ve ever had. Hope he never leaves. I am seeing him again next week for more. As I understand it Ablations don’t last forever. I guess some think so.
I would not recommend this office . Long wait times to get thru on the phone and when you do the receptionist is rude & condescending. When I was talking to her she seemed preoccupied, I heard the typing on the background. I asked 2 questions and she didn’t respond. My appts were basically the same. Never got to see Dr Pico and when I did it was very rushed . He doesn’t listen to your concerns and half the time I saw a PA. After seeing several doctors, going to physical therapy and leaving my primary care doctor of 15 years, I found AZ Pain Doctors and Dr. Thakkar. I suffered from back pain for several months. My primary care doctor gave me a few pain shots that did nothing and told me to go to PT but didn't recommend anyone. They didn't refer me to get an MRI. I switched Drs and my new primary doctor provided meds and I found a Spine Dr. I got the MRI which showed a bulging herniated disk and a torn disk. That Spine Dr had horrible bedside ma... read more
Would not recommend this doctor. My Experience was terrible. I was given an unnecessary procedure. I went for a SI injection that was indicated by CT and X Ray and was given an ablation instead. Appears doctor did not read file before procedure instead of SI injection I was having a ablation. The result is that I was given an unnecessary procedure
Dr. Thakkar is very caring and knowledgeable when it comes to his profession. Really takes his time to assist my needs, and monitoring my conditions. Does his best to always help me with my pain, and really cares for his patients. I am thankful I am under his care, resulting my health continuing to improve for the better. - Gracie Novak
