I have been very disappointed with the time the PIM has been closed when I have needed them. One Sunday they were closed because a Dr wasn't available to work. Today I go up there around 1pm and read a sign on the door that said they were closed from 12-3pm due to technical difficulties. Arrive at 3pm to find another sign which replaced the old one that read the Dr was sick and they couldn't find a replacement.

As a 24 year law enforment official, I have been exposed to more physicianas and nurses (great people!) than I can count. I specifically changed my health coverage after an injury making Dr. Mersberger my PCP based upon a variety of factors including personality, conveinence, quality of care and ease of location. He and his staff are outstanding and I highly recommend them for the very best possible care. I have finally found the perfect fit. Kudos to Dr. Mersberger and his outstanding staff!

Best local MD in Dawsonville! We love him and his staff and won't see anyone else for our primary care needs. Hope this helps.

I'm a hospital administrator and use Dr. Mersberger as my primary care physician. All I can say is that he is exceptional and does an outstanding job for me and my family. The reason primary care MD's don't typically see MVA's is because they rarely get paid but are forced to assume alot of liability. There is alot of confusion that develops between your car insurance and personal insurance that drags physician payment for sometimes over 1 year. P.S. One of my friends called me when they read this review so I felt the need to comment. I know the patient in question and was in the clinic when they came in. It is our policy to see MVA's if they pay up front. We have been burned by dozens of patients over the last several years that come in for a MVA and receive the settlement from their insurance, then ignore their medical bill as the money is sent to the patient and not to the physician after such accidents. I have been a patient in the Dawsonville office , as has my elderly mother-in-law & most of my family members, we have received nothing but professional care. It is sad to hear when someone has a bad experience at the same office, but in all fairness I would highly recommend Physicians Immediate Med for a persons medical needs.

I had just been in a rear end accident. I was upset and not feeling greatest. They were closest Immediate Care center need my home. They told me they would not see me because I had been in an accident. I got upset and asked why in world would you not see someone who had been in an accident.
