My dad and I were rebuilding my 1971 Chevy El Camino with a 402 CID. Phoenix Engine did our valve job, and we also purchased the crankshaft and bearings from them. My dad has been a mechanic for 50 years, so he could tell Randy knew what he was talking about. I find myself once again writing to thank you and your staff. Words cannot express the quality and expertise all of you possess when you work on an engine. You rebuilt the 454 engine in my 1981 Chevy 1-ton Dually - an excellent job! Two years later the truck was stolen, and due to insurance priorities it was delivered and worked on at a local Chevy dealer. When I received the truck back after 2 months, it ran terrible. Phoenix Engine rebuilt the 200 cubic inch 6-cylinder Ford engine for my 1968 Ford Fairlane. After 87,000 miles on that motor I changed spark plugs and looking inside the cylinder at the cylinder wall, the cross-hatching was the same as the day it was built, showing expert and precision assembly. Due to a leak in the head gasket, water got in the oil of my 1987 Chevy S10 and ruined the engine. I took the pickup to Phoenix Engine for an overhaul estimate. The overhaul took about 10 days and the final charges were extremely close to the original estimate. Phoenix Engine gave a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty on their work, with 4 to 5 checkups during this period. On each check they serviced my truck within 3 to 7 days after I called. I recently purchased a turnkey 330hp 302 sbf. Once installed it fired right up. Sounded great. Paired w a c4 w a 2000 stall convertor w 3.70 gears, my 3, 400# car runs like a "raped ape" (even tho a higher stall was recommend) No leaks, pings, knocks or any hesitation accellerating. No deiseling When shut down either.

Update!!! Phoenix Engines is the best company I have ever come across. Being a local in the Phoenix area I personally have been to and through the shop many times and I find something new and more amazing every time I go into the shop.
