Enjoy a classic Vietnamese fare at Pho Van SE 82nd. Keeping it a family affair, the food comes straight out of a mother's cookbook and is made from authentic ingredients using traditional styles. The menu covers all courses that starts off with appetizers such as Chả Giò Chay that are crispy vegetable rolls or the Tangy Beef salad. Mains are categorized as either with rice or noodles topped off with specials such as Cơm Cà Ri Gà (Vietnamese chicken curry) or Bún Tôm Thịt (ho... read more

Westminister CA it's not – The ambiance is great, service is above average, and food is so-so. Sorry, I came from the largest Vietnamese community outside of Vietnam, so it's probably not fair to compare. I had this big crepe thing stuffed with vegatables: the bean sprouts overwhelmed the dish and the shell/pastry was very oily. Their Cafe Sua Da, Vietnamese coffee, did not come with a filter. The Pho was better than other Viet restuarants, but the Cha Gio was weak and overpriced. Pho Van's Beaverton location is disorganized... read more
Good for Portland – Not a super elegant restaurant but the food quality was high, it was clean, and the food tasted like vietnamese. They are a bit sparse on the meat so with the noodles you might wish to order extra meat.
Pho Van – Beautiful presentation. Excellent wait staff. Even during busiest hours, always get great service and fast delivery.
excellent – We've gone here for years. Food is good and staff is very friendly.
WHOA NELLY! Beware! – Are you kidding me? this is one of the most expensive Vietnamese Restaurants in Portland. They jack up their prices every year and the food isn't even the best. Check out other Vietnamese places before coming back to this place. You'll save money and youll get a better meal.
Yum City! – One amazing place to eat. Although unassuming, Pho Van provides great food at good prices. A must try!
Consistent and delicious – I eat here often, and it doesn't cost any more than fast food, really. You get lots of food, the service is good (but sometimes slow), and the whole time I've been going there the food has always been consistent (not a "tonight they have the good cook in the kitchen" kind of place). Food is good, appetizers are good, desert is good, and the atmosphere is nice.
Excellent food, great service – I have eaten at the 82nd Pho Van many times and have been consistently pleased. The pho is wonderful, but I would heartily recommend trying the abundant specials available daily. One dish I loved offered Viet sausages, shrimp sticks, mu-shu style wrappers, a plate of greens and herbs, and a couple of wonderful dipping sauces. The waitress happy demonstrated the contruction process, also. I will admit that it's not "cheap" per se but it IS a great deal. I have taken many people, including my pa... read more
I love Pho!! – Delicious, inexpensive, one of the healthier choices you can make. BF and I eat pho at least once a week. If getting it "to go", ask for the noodles uncooked, and then boil 'em in the broth at home to save the gummy noodleball that can develop if you don't get home fast enough. Great food, charming servers, authentic feel, a great value!! The open-ness of the dining room isn't my favorite, but have never had a bad meal.
