Horrible Customer Service My husband bought me a package as a gift that included a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. The front staff was not extremely friendly, but the service providers were nice and professional. My problem was that they did the pedicure last, and then proceeded to tell me that I could not wear my socks and shoes for an hour and a half. Totally Destroyed Mother/Daughter Day Out My daughter who is visiting from Nashville TN & my daughter in law wanted to have a 'Girls Day Out' & wanted to start with a pedicure at Phillipes. Sweet Service I went into Pure Beauty while waiting for my food to be made (GREAT SUSHI NEXT DOOR by the way) and have came back every month!!! The girls there were so nice to me and gave me samples just for visiting, duh of coarse I will come back to you. Anyway, I have purchased just a few small things and joined their reward program. I get coupons all the time without the extra dollars invested. There is one guy there who knows curly hair! I love the staff and the great deals and the free stuff! Lacking customer service Overall the prices and actual services offered are good; however the front staff is not professional and lack customer service skills. They make you feel uncomfortable and most of the staff seem to be a little immature. While waiting up front for your services, you are just hoping that you will be called back soon so you do not have to endure the staff any longer.However, it is a complete difference when you are dealing with the actual service providers..they make it worth while.
VERY DISSATISFIED I was quoted $50.00 for a pedicure w/wax and when I went to pay, I was charged $75.00. Just threw price list at me. VERY RUDE!!!! WILL NOT RETURN. Less expensive on 96th Street.
First time there and loved it! If you want a place you can relax and forget about all the stress in your life, then this is your place. I loved it. They were very professional, they didn't rush me, and they didn't push any of their products on me. I felt very comfortable, and I even talked to the woman the whole time. Excellent Service I have visited Philipes spa & cosmetique many times. The spa pedicure is worth every single penny. They charge you about sixty dollar. They do a scrub, a mask, moisture and massage even before they get to the actual toenails. Iam very much satisfied with their work. You can experience a difference from other spas. Their work is unbelievable. You need to book an appointment. The only demerit is that their price is high.
great salon but on the pricey side You should expect great service and friendly smiles here, along with a variety of spa treatments and salon services. You will not be disappointed here with anything, as the staff is very good at what they do. However, you will pay more for the services than you would at some other popular spas in the area. It's in Frontenac, so you should expect that. It is worth it though, because once you have visited once, you probably will go back again.
