POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - SNOOTY GIRLS AND RUDE BOYS. GROW UP!! CALLED AND ASK WHAT THEIR SPA RATING IS AND SHE WAS VERY SNOOTY AND SAID "I DON'T KNOW WHAT OUR RATING IS YOU JUST NEED TO COME IN AND SEE FOR YOURSELF".
Excellent management && Spa! Whether your visiting from out of state or are a local Philipe's Day Spa is the one stop service provider for all your spa needs. I came to visit a girl friend of mine in Indy and the two of us came for a girls day at Philipes. Not only were we greeted in a friendly and professional manner from the receptionists but the manager was very nice as well! All of our service providers were professional, nice, and fast! Don't waste your time (and money) on the pedicure! I have been to the Spa several times, each time hoping it would get better, but it doesn't. The facility is nice and the staff is generally friendly (just okay, nothing spectacular). I have gotten the pedicure several times, and each time I am very disappointed. After the service, I generally will still have a few rough places, which I feel they should use better product or a pumice. I don't feel like I should have to give myself a pedicure BEFORE the pedicure! I get better ... read more
Front desk staff are snooty! I have been to Phillipe's several times, and each time I have the same experience. The front desk staff are rude and snooty, but the service staff in the back are very pleasant and professional. However, you get so uncomfortable before your appointment, that you NEED a massage to feel better. Then you have to deal with them again to pay. Ugh! Horrible Customer Service My husband bought me a package as a gift that included a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. The front staff was not extremely friendly, but the service providers were nice and professional. My problem was that they did the pedicure last, and then proceeded to tell me that I could not wear my socks and shoes for an hour and a half. Totally Destroyed Mother/Daughter Day Out My daughter who is visiting from Nashville TN & my daughter in law wanted to have a 'Girls Day Out' & wanted to start with a pedicure at Phillipes. We walked in and 6 service clerks stood there leaning on the wall ask if we had an appointment and then said 'you are 12 minutes late' not... Good Morning or even Hello.... Lacking customer service Overall the prices and actual services offered are good; however the front staff is not professional and lack customer service skills. They make you feel uncomfortable and most of the staff seem to be a little immature. While waiting up front for your services, you are just hoping that you will be called back soon so you do not have to endure the staff any longer.However, it is a complete difference when you are dealing with the actual service providers..they make it worth while.
VERY DISSATISFIED I was quoted $50.00 for a pedicure w/wax and when I went to pay, I was charged $75.00. Just threw price list at me. VERY RUDE!!!! WILL NOT RETURN. Less expensive on 96th Street.
First time there and loved it! If you want a place you can relax and forget about all the stress in your life, then this is your place. I loved it. They were very professional, they didn't rush me, and they didn't push any of their products on me. I felt very comfortable, and I even talked to the woman the whole time. She was very intelligent, and refreshing. I would go back in a heartbeat. I was a burnt out mom, student and employee. Now I feel like me again. Please give them a try.
