This past March marked the 6th time over the last decade that I'd received radiation treatment from Dr. Shrake. As has been my experience each time, the level of care provided was exceptional. A concise treatment plan was devised quickly and implemented with great precision! I have great confidence in his ability to assess the situation accurately and formulate a plan based on his knowledge and experience. His entire staff is professional and do all they can to make you feel at ease.
I am a patient who already had radiation therapy 10 years ago and it made it difficult to do it again when my PSA climbed to 12.4 recently. I saw Dr Shrake and he designed a series of treatments to avoid my old areas of treatment but would attack the current areas of concern based on my pet scan. After treatment my PSA dropped to less than .1. I took my 89 yr old Dad to Dr Shrake, recently, for consultation for possible radiation treatments on his ear for soft tissue sarcoma cancer he has. He just had MOHS surgery. Dr Shrake did an amazing job of talking with my Dad about the reality of his cancer. He's very straight forward but compassionate & caring, as well.
