Your billboard about diabetes is offensive. Type 1 Diabetes is an auto immune disorder. I didnt get it from after school snacks. You people should consult with a trained professional before posting medical information. I am tired of people accusing me of causing my auto immune disease. Its people like you that cause this misinformation. You need to take that billboard down and apoligize for perpetuating ignorance.

Your billboard about diabetes is foolish. The fact that you are so misinformed has made its way across the country thanks to social media. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You should educate yourselves before you spread your bad info.

learn the difference between type 1 and type 2. Your campaign is perpetuating a negative stigma for all diabetics. Type 1 is an autoimmune disorder and diet has zero impact.

Your billboard about diabetes is a disgrace! Type 1 diabetics didnt ask to become diabetic it's an autoimmune disease and its crap like this that makes it hard because everyone already assumes all diabetics get that way from bad eating habits. Please educate yourselves before posting something like this!!!!

You are advertising the wrong disease regarding children making poor snack choices. Please take down that ad and issue an apology. The Type 1 Diabetic community takes this seriously as type 1 is an autoimmune disease that attacks the pancreas, not by poor food choices. You are spreading ignorance, false information, that aids in the discrimination of people for being insulin dependent! So not ok!!!!

Shame on you for your ignorant sign. Do you know anything??? Rest assured my son did nothing to deserve this disease. Though he fights with his head held high he surely does not need to see your ignorance on a billboard. Education is key.

just saw a billboard about diabetes that's blatently false! type 1 vs type 2 are two very different things! An after school snack doesn't "cause" diabetes!!! Even if it was pure sugar! Absolutely disgusting that a public health program is spreading such false information. ugh!
