You have to read the strips at 60 second for nitrates and 30 seconds for everything else per the instructions. After awhile they do all turn bright pink. We give many refunds to people who have safe water. Again, I am sorry you do not agree but it is our policy and Api brand strips are not rigged, they are a trusted brand in the industry. If you don't think they work you can call api and talk to them about how their strips are developed and tested to be accurate. stop giving people advice about animals when they have no clue what there talking about got two fish from there and they both died with in two days after getting them and went by what they told me to do
