Brought my 9 month old Lab in for a vasectomy. From what I can tell, Dr. Rastetter and her staff did an awesome job! The site is healing beautifully. I can barely tell he had a procedure. They also followed up with me the next day to see how he was doing. I'm glad there's a local option for vasectomies and ovary sparing spays in addition to the traditional neuter/spay that they offer.
Business response:
Thank you for the kind words Steve! We appreciate your feedback and happy to hear your pup is healing well!
Haven't been here yet but does anyone know the cost to have a cat declawed here?
Had my dog fixed here last year. After picking her up she started bleeding pretty bad. Had to take her in for emergency surgery that night that cost me an extra $3500. Emergency vet had to retie all the internal sutures since she was bleeding. They took no responsibility here.
Business response:
Mr. Mitchell.... this is Dr. Rastetter. I do remember Aggie and her need for exploratory surgery after her spay at PNS. Aggie was late term pregnant when you brought her to be spayed. You and I discussed that her risk for bleeding during and after surgery were much higher than a non-pregnant dog despite me taking additional precautions to minimize that risk. You chose to proceed with the surgery rather than let her give birth. I also informed you that, if Aggie had any complications, she would need to seen at the ER and such... read more

Hi Angelica. I've looked in our records and you have not been a client at Pets In Stitches, LLC. I was wondering what prompted you to give us a 1 star rating?
To the staff and Dr Danielle,Thank you so much for taking care of my dogs Chloe and Jazzie ! They seem much happier now and I know I am..Everyone there was so nice and helpful! Thank you again for your excellent care ! I truly appreciate it so much! Rhonda
Business response:
It was our pleasure!!
Left my dog covered in blood because she was deemed dangerous. My dog was treated completely different then my mothers dog who was getting spayed the same day. They left my dog in the kennel covered in blood with extremely bruised incisions. Stay away from this place it's no different then a jiffy lube for animals. Front desk staff was rude and disrespectful.
Business response:
I am sorry that you felt you had a negative experience at PNS Scotty. The picture you posted is not covered in blood. It's just a bruise. Some dogs, just like people, have more bruising that other for a multitude of reasons that are not within our control. Bruising will subside with time. Yes, some dogs show behavior signals of nervousness and not respecting those warning signs can both further increase a dog's stress and also may result in a bite to a human. Coming into a strange building with strange people, strange smells... read more
