Do Not Use Petro! Corrupt over priced business with terrible customer service. I got set up with Petro when I went to sign up for Tank Farm for propane a few years ago. However, I never ended up getting a Tank Farm account and have always just had a Petro account. I only had a gas stove for a while, so deliveries were small and I didn't pay much attention to the pricing. I recently got a propane furnace so propane usage has increased. I am struggling with the inconsistent response from Petro. We have been a propane customer for 4 winters. Our first year was a challenge with running out of propane several times, but we figured since it was a new account we’d work it out. The next two years we had minimal issues and the auto delivery was working. This winter we’ve run out of propane twice because Petro decided not to deliver every two weeks. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Prices are higher than other suppliers. Petro does not respond in a timely manner to service or delivery requests. For reference I'm on auto delivery amd was not notified that petro was planning on delivering 2 hours after it stopped snowing. The driveway had been cleared the previous evening and there was about 1/2 inch of snow in some parts and a small amount near the entrance from the town plowing overnight....never saw a truck but they say a delivery attempt was made. I have used the same oil company for 10 yrs. The employees have always been very nice. This year, I was on automatic delivery but they stopped delivering because I didnt pay for 1 delivery fast enough ($326). I didnt know so this caused me to run out of oil and now I have an $849 bill because of restart. I dont live in the house right now because my previous employer went bankrupt due to covid.
