Petco has established a policy that they will not accept any returns related to “Covid” inclusive of all items- even those they will not be returning to stock. I have not experienced this at any other stores & find it unacceptable.
I am so frustrated with Petco right now. I have always been a loyal customer. Even if I am In the same parking lot as the other two pet stores I go out of my way to go to Petco. That changed today. On Dec 31, I bought a cat door. The guy helped me try to figure out a way to solve a problem I was having with my dog escaping. He assured me that I could return it if I needed to. Scott, the manager has very poor customer service skills, and a condescending demeanor. I will not step foot back in the Madison Alabama store ever again.
I bought a $30.00 training collar for my dog which, I found out, it would not work. being that PETCO is not a customer friendly company. they stated due to covid 19, they will not take any returns. you can go into their store and shop and pet anyone's pet, and that is fine. but a collar might have covid 19. I have spent my last dollar at their crooked store.
The staff is not trained or educated on reptile products and have caused me damage to my tank and injury to my Ball Python.
Because after getting dogs shots and having my dog looked at twice , on the very day of the appointment they tell me oh we can't cut the dog's hair it's too matted , you think you couldn't told me this after 2 visit with my dog!! after looking at your ratings I'd never recommend you to anyone I been trying to get my dog's hair cut since march of last yr but then Covid set in and that was the end of that!!
I went in to return some pet food I just bought and they are saying they are not taking returns at this time due to COVID. Well we have been in this situation for almost a year now it is too bad Petco feels COVID can be cought from a return item. Unforunitly they have now lost my business forever because Petsmart and other petshops in the Fresno area are taking returns.
