Great store! I have been in Pet Village many times. My only problem is that there isn't a store in Riverton! It is an awesome, full service store with very helpful, cheerful employees. Oh, I have one more problem....When I go in the store I want to take all of the cute, playful puppies and beautiful birds home with me.
Best fish in upper Utah Ok i admit i have read the reviews about small animals like birds and puppies but i would never buy a bird or pup from anyone accept a reputable breeder. But pet village has the best fish department ive been to. they are knowledgable and know what they are talking about. I have purchased many fish from them and they were all happy and healthy. i am very pleased with this store and will continue to go there
Great smaller pets! My daughter wanted to buy a boxer puppy but it was really hyper and ran all over the store, too mouthy. Instead i told her to look at the smaller pets. We bought a big white rabbit and it's super funny. My five year old bought a fish, and feeds it everyday with out hesitation. The pets are teaching them great skills.
Puppy Mill I agree that the puppies come from puppy mills. I bought a Llaha Aspo from there and she was in very bad shape. I got her home and she wouldnt eat. She had no energy at all. When she finally went poop, it was almost all blood. She also was not pure breed as indicated. The only positive thing about Pet Village I can say is when I called them and told them what was going on, they had me bring the puppy back in and they took her to the vet and paid the vet bill. Amazing Fish Selection This is the only store I've purchased my fish from. The selection is PHENOMENAL. If you walk the aquarium aisles and don't find any fish you like, I'll be shocked. As for the other animals, they seem sickly. I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything but fish and supplies here.
Good Local Store We lived for almost 10 year just down the street from Bird World and my wife and kids used to walk down and visit the animals and buy supplies. 2 years ago I bought a sun conure there and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The employees are very friendly and the prices are the same or better than other pet stores I've been to.
Great!!! store!!!!! Excellent and knowledgeable staff and owner..!!! After a decade of of my hobby(reef aquarium) I have investigated literally EVERY AQUARIUM STORE IN UTAH. ....... Having studied marine biology, and keeping abreast of all new and pertinent information in this interesting and growing hobby, I feel confident in my judgments. Excellent fish selection! This place has an excellent selection of fresh and salt water fish. Prices are very resonable and competitive. Extensive selection of aquariums and other fish accessories. Staff is very friendly and helpful, not to mention educated on what they sell.
