Buyer Beware Please do not buy a dog from this or any pet shop. I made the mistake of buying a puppy from this place. The puppy was always sick and mean. Must have been abused at a puppy mill. The puppy ended up biting my 2 year old in the face. I also was charged about $700 more than it would have cost to go to a legit breeder. Please do your homework before buying a pet and don't make the same mistake I did.
They DO NOT refund any used items!! My friend bought a fish tank (~$100) four weeks ago, and tried to refund by some reason. When we asked to refund, a woman officer said it can not refund because the tank was used. The tank was perfect condition, we have receipt, not past 30 days as noticed on receipt, and all extra components were included in tank. So I asked that any other used items could not refund, and she said YES. It means that they can refund only unopened and unused items!! Is it reasonable?? I still can not unders... read more
I Will Never Ever Ever Go Back Please under no circumstances purchase a pet from this store. The store claims to not purcahse from puppy mills and proudly boasts that they use a "broker" the reality is a broker is someone who simply goes to puppy mill auctions or worse drives around the country purchasing puppies from any breeder (reputable or not). One of Utah's best pet stores! Great store. The staff are light years ahead of the staff at PetCo and PetSmart box stores. They don't get their puppies from puppy mills - I have sold them dogs and I am not a puppy mill - just a breader.
Great pet store! For all of you that think puppies at bird world are from puppy mills are crazy. One of my relatives bought a 8 week old pekineses and he is doing fine. If it suffers from many problems it isn't companies fault it is the knowledgeable breeder. I've bought animals from here for many years and think it has good variety in pets and supplies.
This place needs to be closed!!!!! For good!!!!! Well we bought a 6 week old puppy from them he was so sick he had Giardia, Kennel Cough, Ear mites, Yeast infection in both ears, and Pneumonia. Also he was very malnourished we think he was taken from his mother too soon that's because we feel he came from a puppy mill. My Poor Dog is the Victim of their Puppy Mill ways I should have done my research. I remember seeing the cute puppies at Pet Village & Bird World and when it was time for me to purchase my own dogs, I decided to pay them a visit and purchase mine there.
Pet Village & Bird World is Buyer Beward is Right! i'm not sure what some of these other poeple have been smoking (or have been paid to say) but this shop has some big issues with pet health. I warned a friend of mine NOT to buy birds from there. I've bought canaries, and they all struggled with health (just like their dogs have health issues) till they eventually died within the year, but she invested into one of the larger parrots anyways. the bomb! The Bird World Pet Store is the best they have all the small dogs there! I love it! All pet stores should have dogs! This is my favorite! this is the best pet store in the whole world of pet stores! i love it super duper duper duper duper much! it is the bomb diggity bomb bomb bomb!
