I agree with these reviews. Just had my house done with water resistant laminate. Pergo Max. It resists nothing. Already 3 warped spots. I was told to go through the store of purchase to file a claim if manufacturer defect. You know they will claim it's not. I had cheap laminate down before that lasted for 12 years with no warping at all. I trusted the Pergo name. This is a joke. Floors will have to be redone when I can afford it.

Business response:

Hello Sheila, thank you for the opportunity to assist with your concerns. I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. Our Consumer Affairs team looked to see whether a claim had been filed under your name; we do not see a claim yet. Your retailer can file a claim with Pergo on your behalf, so that the claim analyst can review your concerns. I apologize again for your experience.

Mohawk does not stand behind their carpeting. We purchased our carpet from Home Depot and right off the bat there were problems. The Home Depot installers noticed the problem with the carpet and stopped the installation. The dye was inconsistent across the width of the carpet and at the seam there was a dark brown line running the length of my entire great room. Despite this terrible manufacturing flaw, it took weeks to get Mohawk to send someone out to evaluate the carpet. Mohawk balked at replacing the carpet even though H... read more

We recently purchased a Mohawk beige sculptured carpet for our home. After being installed, we can clearly see the seams, two places in particular. A representative from the flooring business came, took pictures and agreed it was not right. He showed me where it looked like there were two different colors matching up against each other causing the obvious flaw. He then shared his pictures with the area Mohawk representative who also agreed there was a flaw in the carpet and felt it needed to be replaced. He scheduled an insp... read more

Beware consumers. The very first week after my supposedly "waterproof" laminate flooring was installed, it began "banana boating"; rising up at the edges so it looks warped. I contacted the company I purchased it from; At first I thought I was being too picky so I let it go. A couple months later it is full on separating at the edges and rising up like it has been soaked with water. Believe me when I tell you - please - I have already been through this nightmare once - I NEVER ALLOW WATER TO TOUCH THIS FLOOR. Never. I use th... read more

Wood flooring made by this company was purchased in Nov 2018 and installed the 3rd week in Nov. There was an awful odor of formaldehyde emitted by this flooring. The Representative called Mohawk and were told that the odor would disappear in 3 days. It has been 6 weeks with no results. An 80 years old woman who lives in this condo has been in a hotel for 2 months and is now in the hospital. We have been ignored by this company for 6 weeks now and they are still working on it. We have a claim #7311567. I called the Co. and as... read more

This is a multi- billion dollar company and they can not even assist a single buyer or care about customer satisfaction. Horrible. A big commercial giant not interested in their customers. ******* ********** (Chairman & CEO) In the previous Fortune 500 list, Unum ranked 279th. Mohawk Industries, the world's biggest floorcovering manufacturer based in Calhoun, Ga., grew its revenues last year by 3.5 percent to $8.1 billion. ... In 2014, Fortune ranked Mohawk No. 362 on its list of the 500 biggest companies. The WORST ever. ... read more

BUYER BEWARE! Google Pergo complaints before you purchase. We purchased over 1400sq ft. of Pergo Laminate flooring and installation at ***** paying over $5500 in December 2014. We purchased the flooring because of ***** rep said it had great durability, can with stand anything, looks great and has a 25 year warranty. The flooring was delivered the night before the install. Material never had time to acclimate to the environment. I asked the installer about that the next day and he said not to worry. Installer did a moisture ... read more
