Just had mohawk LTV flooring installed less than 1 week ago, 10/12/2022. The flooring appears to be defective, with the edges starting to curl, this is a vacant house, the HVAC system is on and I spent $4,000 dollars preparing the subfloor for install of the floors. The installer says its a manufacturer issue, Mohawk says maybe who knows it will take months to investigate the cause and who knows what the remedy is or how long it will take.

I purchased Mohawk Carpet from ******s. After just a year it was wearing terribly in walking areas. It was supposed to have a 10 year warranty. I notified ******s who notified Mohawk and my claim was denied because I did not have the carpet professional cleaned every 12-18months. This information was never given to me by ******s. So disappointed in the install and response from both the flooring store and Mowhawk. Carpet is less than a year old and already looks worn and loops are pulled all over where we walk. Our carpet from 1996 was and continues to outperform Smartstrand in the rest of our home. ***** *******Raleigh, NC

In 2018 my father purchased a Mohawk carpet from **********. It's the smart strand corn husk carpet that was highly recommended. By 2021 the carpet was wearing out in high-traffic places. My father filed a complaint in October 2021. He sent pics and spoke to the installer. Over the last few months, he made multiple calls, left messages, and never heard back. Terrible customer service and terrible product. We move a lot with my husbands job and have never had flooring like this. We bought a new construction house and immediately after moving in we noticed scratches and dents all over the hardwood floors. All of our furniture has pads on the feet, and the rugs have pads. Even with keeping our dogs nails trimmed it still creates scratches. She has never scratched any flooring in the 4 houses she had lived in. She is not a big dog either. We moved in in August 2021. As other have said-do not do business with this company. The complete lack of any customer service and lies after lies. Should have went with another brand, but lesson learned the hard way. They do not care about you as a customer and do not back up anything they claim or offer.

After having a problem with a Mohawk Industries Flooring product, first repeated calls went unanswered. When I was finally able to speak to someone in their consumer affairs dept, all they did was to place the onus on anyone other than Mohawk Industries. When I pointed out it was a product manufactured by Mohawk,and questioned whether they took responsibility for thier products I was told that i was not the customer, the retailer I purchased the product was. It's so sad, that I didn't check reviews before purchasing laminate from Mohawk. We purchased waterproof laminate and less than in two months we got bumps on it. My claim was denied because "some solution for floor cleaning was used and this destroyed them" (definitely not true). Highly not recommend to buy anything from Mohawk.
