Pep Boys is awful. I am in State College, PA. I will never buy anything there. I ordered a part that was to be in the next day. One person said it was on the fedex truck another person said it was late because of the weather. One of them was lying. That was two days ago and they still haven't called me to say the part is in. Called Advance Auto and had the part as promised.
When I took my truck in to have brakes done they did a great job. Now today when I took my truck in for a failing alternator they tell me a the battery is dead, Really!!!! it's not getting a charge from the alternator. instead of putting a charge on the battery to see if it's really bad, they try to get me buy a new one so they can test the alternator then and then tell me the alternator is bad. do they think everyone is that stupid?
