So had Pep Boys do alignment on my truck a few weeks ago. Guy did a good job but told me he found a few issues with it. Fine he lined it up perfectly. So I change upper ball joints,control arm bushings, wheel bearings and brakes,sway bar bushings, and inner and outer tie rod ends. Go back last week to get it alignment due to all the work I did...guy does it cool. Get in truck...steering wheel cocked to one side...turn right back and tell the guy its not right. Absolute trash service and workmanship. We are currently in talks with the State of Maine Attorney General's office regarding this location. The BBB is the next step. Only bring your vehicle there if you have a death wish.
pep boys has got to be one of the most crooked auto mechanics shop in america. They will jack up their prices, tell you you need way more than you need, and if that doesn't work, they'll break things so you have to come back. They tried to tell me I needed a control arm, axel, and multiple other things, jacking up the price to well over $1000.00. All it took was a ball joint and $150.00. Do not go to pep boys. They're crooks. not sure how they sleep at night.
a huge shout out to the guys at pep boys! they have been so helpful this past week no matter how many times I called or been in they never once gave me attitude they were always helpful and kind! and when I needed help they didnt even hesitate to tell me to come in and they would give me a hand with a part I was having a hard time with! thank you so much you have made this job I'm doin that much easier!

Crooks , that’s why........ told me I needed 950 $ worth of brake job to get a sticker..... Got it done for 1/3 of that at Meineke and didn’t need half of what they said I did. When I asked them after, what the deal was, I was told the mechanic should have looked at it better when he told me that I needed the parts...... BEWARE
I just dropped my car off for some service and a state inspection and not only were they quick they called and age us an update on how everything was going. They have also been quick and great at what they do! I love the service here!
