I used to trust these stores. they have done me right, but this last time, I went for a battery, ended up needing an alternator... they did not have it in stock, so they called advanced auto. they had one for $179.00, they delivered it and after 3.5 hours I paid my bill, they charged me 338.00 for the 179.00 alternator.. they may think a woman is stupid, but I looked up the price they paid and probably was less because they were a business... Waited three hours for a brake and rotors job to be done... was the ONLY car in there come back over three hours later to give them a little more time and the first thing I hear is that the mechanic got started on another job.... ummm WHY? My vehicle was in there first... oh and here's the kicker... another "hour and a half is needed" yeah that wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have to drive an hour to pick up kids from daycare.....so great....
