I had my car overheating almost 2 hours from home. They charged me $400 and sent me with one of the worst oil leaks Meineke said they had ever seen. The 400 entailed a diagnostic, new belt and oil cleanup. if they couldn't fix the car why start the process? Will not recommend. They took advantage of an out of towner.
I made an appointment with Audubon Pepboys for 10:00A.M. yesterday arrived 5 minutes before appointment, at 1:00 P.M. they finally got the car into the shop and after 15 minutes evaluated that there was a small leak in the radiator and it needed to be replaced, I informed them that we had CarShield and that the work had to be approved prior to work being done. Refused to recycle used motor oil even though they are required to by NYS law. Dumb reason to lose a customer.
Had an alignment done. Don't recommend the one on University Blvd & Riggs Rd.

I used to be a long time Pep Boys customer. I’ve gotten many tire repaired or replaced there in the past. However, they’ve must’ve changed their policy to a policy of inefficiency and lack of customer service on all levels. The manager was very rude nasty and provided terrible customer service to be in a manager position! He was very non helping nonchalant after I spent money at this location to get maintenance done on my vehicle. I was over charged and lies to about the cost of my repairs in which I'm left to dispute with my credit card company. There are employees smoking vapes while repairing vehicles. Had an 11am appointment. Was told they were running 2-2.5 hours behind so I was welcome to leave it (which I did). They called at 4:30 to say “the master technician has to be here to use tool we need so we can’t do it”. Staff were very pleasant and apologized but someone needs to manage the service department. Would not recommend at all!
