RecommendedOur car broke down just before a long road trip, and AAA came and jumped the battery and said we needed a new alternator. We brought it to this Pep Boys location and they correctly diagnosed that it was just the battery and the positive terminal being loose that was the problem, saving us hundreds of dollars. Had it and a tire fixed by morning and we were on our way. Very good experience.
They are extremely reliable.
Anything they try to rip you off having work done
1st, behind your shitty policy, I was forced to buy 4 tires, behind ONE FLAT TIRE. Then, your incompetent employees BROKE MY TIRE GAUGE, ON A TIRE I HAD ZERO ISSUES WITH, prior to them bastards touching my vehicle!!! My favorite part?! AFTER breaking my gauge, your employee tells me, that I "need to go to the dealership, if (MY BRAND NEW) tire goes flat again, because it's not the tire." I paid for a warranty on those tires, & I'll be damned if your company doesn't get it right!! I wish I could give that location a ZERO. Sad... read more
Really took care of me. Can't leave a good enough post to say how appreciative I am of this morning's service. Quick, polite, understanding, and above and beyond friendly even when I was there before the doors even opened.
They've been great to us! And Ray has superpowers.
They put 0W-20 instead of the recommended 5W-40 in a brand new engine and I've had my check oil light go off twice and my oil pressure light go off once since they changed the oil. So either they didn't seat the drain bolt or filter properly and the oil is leaking, or the oil is running too hot and being burned. Either way, I'll never come here again.
Went there with a flat. Without even looking at my car, the guy told me I needed four new tires because I was driving a Subaru. Left and went to Walmart, who looked at my car and replaced just one tire.
Not only is the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, but they don't treat me like a child. I find that in other auto parts stores, the staff is unhelpful and makes comments about my ability to do things, because I'm a woman. I'm not conflating this. They actually comment on me being a female and do not believe that I know how to work on my own car.
