History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to love this little quaint establishment, it’s just terrible. The staff is rude to you when you request your incorrect order be fixed, we were told by our server that they would not fix the burgers, we could eat them as is or not, but we would still need to pay full price. No owner/manager to speak to. Sadly this was our 2nd visit and the first wasn’t any better. A kraft single on the “2nd best burgers in Idaho” just isn’t a good burger.
Recommendedfood is fantastic! reasonably priced and the service was outstanding. Jamie was delightful and made laundry day daya much better experience. we will be back
Absolutely delicious burgers!!
I was just floored with this restaurant!! From the outside it is a little hole in the wall but you are enticed by the smell of the bbq. When my husband and I got sitted, we had the best service I have ever had by far (from Zachary) from beginning to end. We were never low on our drinks. The burgers were so delicious. This burger was DELICIOUS!!! I got the John Wayne and WOW!! Very friendly staff and amazing cooks!! The 40 min drive from Spokane was definitely worth the burger I had tonight. The fries were perfect, onion rings were perfect!! We will be back!! Thank you!!
FABULOUS!! Outstanding burger & fries. We ordered take out is the only reason I didn’t mention the atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and our order was ready when we arrived!
Never a miss! Every time we go, the food is fantastic and the staff is beyond wonderful. LOVE IT!
Best Burger of your life!
The attitude of Christina, the owner is just awful. Calling people sh*tty and a-holes who were trying to give your "small local business" money is pretty terrible. I'll never recommend this business based on that attitude alone. The owner represents the business. Speaking publicly on your facebook profile and talking crap about patrons is bad form, Christina.
