History Established in 2013. Penny's Pit was built from the ground up and is family owned and operated. Ryan and Christina Klundt, along with Christina's father David and sister Nichole started Penny's with minimal savings and income, without any business loans.David came up with the name "Penny's Pit" after Christina and Ryan's pit bull dog Penny. We happened upon this place by chance. When we go back it will be by choice. Pastrami on the Pastrami burger my wife ordered was the best I have ever tasted. I had the parmesan chicken sandwich and it was by far the best I have ever had. Do yourself a flavor, opps favor and give it a try.
