Wonderful activities for the whole family!
The Penn Trafford Area Recreation Commission is an excellent, well run organization that offers a wide array of programs to a wide array of people. My middle school age children have especially enjoyed the swimming, art and playground programs. PTARC's communication is excellent. When I've had questions or concerns, my calls have been answered promptly and my suggestions sometimes turned into new classes. I wish Penn Trafford had a senior citizen community center. Norwin does. There's one on 286. We don't have a building for senior citizens. We have the cornball game but as a senior citizen I can't carry it out. We have beautiful pavilions but they are filled with tables so we can't use them unless we can move the tables. And we can't. The people who run the program are wonderful though the people who go to the programs are wonderful too.
