Was treated very poorly by the emergency staff. Waited 2 hours before even seen , then seen Dr for 3 minutes and even linger wait to be released

I recently gave birth to my first child through PSH and I could not have been happier with how everything went!! From the start, I was taken such good care of by the staff in the Mount Joy office, namely Sylvia Hawley. She is truly a wonderful human being, in fact, I could not wait to come to the office to introduce her to the little girl she took such wonderful care of! I had surgery at pshmc this past Monday (2/29/2016) with dr. Haluck. Every person from the second I walked in the door was fantastic. Every nurse and medical professional on my case was personable, helpful, empathetic, warm and caring. They made me feel safe and that I was being taken care of with the utmost respect and dignity from preop through my post op stay. I've always had good experiences with HMC until this last visit. My son was just there end of this last week. He was admitted but we had to stay in the ER since all beds were full. Which is ok we understand. The thing is he never got a food tray thankfully my mother brought us food. Also there was a nurse that out right lied to the Drs and the next nurse coming on shift. So very unprofessional. All the Drs that took care of my baby were great and want to give a shout out to the RN Megan she was really nice and helpful.

My 2 year old daughter came in for ear tubes this morning and everyone was amazing with her. She was well taken care of from the time we stepped foot in the door at her first appointment. We are very happy with the care she received. Thank you to everyone involved in her care!
