This has to be one of the best hospitals in the world. My husband had a lung biopsy done and I was kept abreast of his progress every step of the way. The doctors and staff are so friendly and professional. A big thanks to Ed Diel our recovery room nurse. Amazing. We made a great choice when we did our research.

I must say that today I was less than impressed with my visit to Hershey Pediatric Urology. Last week Dr. Decter performed a cordi and torsion surgery on my 6 month old son which went well and him, his resident, and intern as well as all the nurses were amazing and very thorough. Unfortunately he left for vacation and I was scheduled to see one of his colleagues Dr. Burns to have my son's catheter removed. Our apt was scheduled for 3:20 pm and we showed up about 15 minutes early as usual. The nurse took us back to a room did... read more

I have had all three of my children at HMC and had good experiences every time. I had my third a week ago and again had a great experience. All of the nurses in labor and delivery are amazing, caring people! Specifically nurse Jen who was my delivery nurse and helped coach me through the hard part of my delivery. Also nurse Jacquie and nurse Ginny who were with me in recovery that first night/day post-delivery. I can't thank you all enough for the care and support you offered!

Great people and treatment, but when a person is treated for pain from Crohn's there hardly is any follow up treatment for pain vs addiction. You leave it all up to the patient. You need to know the difference between pain vs opiate addiction. You can't just ask questions and think that's ok. You really need to be more educated for that and educate your patients and parents. I think you are afraid to. Because of your "stick your head in the sand" approach patients are addicted and you could of helped prevent it.
