This place is seriously lacking in basic patient care skills. My daughter had brain surgery on Monday and was tranferred from the IC room on Tuesday. Upon getting to her new room on the 3rd floor, she was plopped on the bed and left without anyone handing her the call button - which was out of reach - or telling her about the tv (which was on a swing mount) and placing it where she could watch. Everyone there took wonderful care of my mother. I can't thank them enough. She got top notch care at a top rated hospital! ♡
They need better communication skills we sat in waiting room for 7hrs while my mom was in surgery with no updates at least update people every 2hrs
My daughter was in the Pediatric ED on Nov 1 & 2 for severe abdominal pain they did several tests, scans, ultrasounds, gave her morphine several times (which did nothing for her pain), she was seen by 6 different doctors, and we were there for 12+ hours. She was discharged with no answers. She had a more in-depth MRI on Nov 3 at Hershey hospital, while there her severe abdominal pain came again and she was dizzy and fell hitting her head. Absolutely love the Children's Hospital the nurses and staff we are all great and they all loved my 1 year old daughter and did the best they could to make sure we had the best care while she had her surgery and her overnight stay
While no one enjoys going to the emergency room, this is by far the best experience I've had within a hospital. My daughter was comfortable and felt loved and cared for. The staff including doctor's were fantastic and amazing to deal with. I look forward to dealing with these wonderful people in the future. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else for children. Thank you so much for everything you did for my daughter
