RecommendedThey were very courteous and understanding when I took my daughter with autism in to be seen immediately. The trauma med/surg team was incredible and listened to what I needed to say before examining her to make sure there was no added stress on my daughter. Far better than Holy Spirit and Harrisburg combined. Thank you first responders and pediatric ER staff, especially ER RN Stacy who took care of my daughter every step of the way.
We were in the children’s hospital with my son for almost a week on the 4th floor. The nursing staff has been AMAZING! They took the time to speak with us get to know our situation and spoke to us a family not a medical record number. I unexpectedly spent the two days at Hershey Medical Center. What an amazing place. There was not one single person working in that facility that was not completely professional, compassionate, caring, kind and helpful right up to the young lady who rolled me very carefully to my ride all the while chatting about how much she loved feeding the birds at her home. This facility is poorly run and very insufficient. A patient has to wait months in advance for an appointment and and scheduling for tests is virtually impossible. Tests get lost and when you call they have no knowledge of any scheduled appointments. They are uninformed and very unwilling to assist. I would never recommend this facility to anyone and the support staff for the medical team is atrocious.
They continually bill me for a procedure that was paid.

My dad has been in this hospital for 16 days and every time I ask to speak with his oncology team no has gotten back to me in 2 days. As a nurse I would never treat family like this. So upset
great care from excellent neurology staff!
My husband has multiple myeloma and we’re in there every other Friday for his infusion! Nursing staff is amazing! That means a lot when you’re in the Cancer Institute as often as this! God Bless the nurses!
