They make you wish you stayed sick. No matter how good your insurance you will get large surprise bills for each visit constantly from them. They should be investigated for fraud!
Not only is this a top notch Trauma Center but the Cancer Institute is credited to saving my life. My transplant was preformed here in 2017 and I’m doing very well as of today. I recommend this cutting edge medical facility to everyone. Great staff and truly caring personnel in every department that treated me

I recommend being ripped off for doctor's visits. No other place has two charges for one doctor's visit. There are better facilities around
their patient logistics and communications when transferring from outpatient to inpatient are HORRID. especially when it was not even supposed to be outpatient. you get stuck in a hole and forgot about
I always feel taken care of.
They create a new account for you for every bill. And send you 800 surprise bills for every visit. They are no help over the phone and will turn you over to a collection agency over their incompetence 2 days after they bill yoy. They will make you suffer worse than what you went to see them for. They have no one to answer the phones to make appointments or ask billing questions. All of their specialists are on different systems so you may or not get reminders of appointments.
I'm so impressed with the level of patient care as well as family care. My mom just went in for brain surgery - a stressful procedure for all of us, and the staff was so caring, thoughtful, empathetic, and helpful. The employees in the surgical waiting area were amazing, and the nurses in the ICU were attentive and helpful. I can't say enough great things about Hershey Medical Center!
