Really strange and disappointing that there are absolutely NO appointments available at any of the Penn dermatology locations. The staff member (Romeo) was very warm, but he could only waitlist me. What is one to do when they have concerning moles and prefer to use Penn as their provider???

I called and got a scheduler on the second ring. She only had an appointment for bucks county location and I want to go to Radnor. She apologized and said they were completely booked for next 3 months at Radnor . She offered to put me on a cancellation list. Told me they would call if any location has an opening so be careful before accepting. As usual Penn was wonderful !! Scheduling department for penn is horrendous. Got told and reassured 10 times that one of there locations did a specific Procedure - trusted them, drove over an hour away just for the dermatologist to say “umm yea we have never done here. “ If you want great care/ competent individuals don’t go here.

What people are saying regarding making an appointment is true. It was challenging to make an appointment, as the schedulers were often cryptic about doctor availability. One such scheduler however, after making an appointment for me six months out, advised me to call first thing in the morning (at 8 am) and appointments often open up. I was able to get an appointment after calling three days in a row- for the next day since someone had apparently cancelled or rescheduled their appointment.
