My experience with Pella of Austin has been excellent throughout. The only significant problem we ran into was that the interior window sealant was delayed due to COVID-19 shipping issues, so the installer will have to return in a couple of weeks to complete the job. James, the salesman, was helpful and prompt. Audrey, the project manager, was helpful at all times and kept me informed of schedules. The windows look great, have smooth action, and great features. The windows are fine. I have them throughout my home. But their service is terrible. I called them about two months ago about a damaged window and received a fairly timely email on 6/11/20 stating I would be contacted in 3-5 business days. I heard nothing until 7/21/20 when another email was sent telling me all the things I needed to do including interior, exterior photos, serial numbers, photos of the damage, etc. I replied two days later. Not happy with the contractors you sent to install. They were super nice people but did not do good finishing work at all. I have attached a few pics but have a lot more!!!! Contacted our sales guy and not impressed with his response to us. This was a very expensive job to not have it done right!!!!

Considering the reputation Pella has, I was shocked at how poor my experience was with them. I had a relatively simple (I thought) trapezoidal window replacement. I first contacted them in May 2019. The window was finally installed in June 2020. That’s right - more than a year. They came out twice to measure the window, yet still came out two times with a window that didn’t fit! Update: it’s been two weeks plus and crickets from the concerned, caring customer service team at Pella Denver. Why am I not surprised?? I ordered windows June 5 and signed contract. Pella measured the following week. Had an install date for August 7. Since then, zero communication after multiple emails. Called salesperson, investigated, following day told us he would call back yesterday. No call yesterday. Emailed today 7/28. He called to tell us our order was on hold and we needed to let them know if we wanted to move forward and date to install was unknown but probably at least 4-6 weeks. Dennis and his crew did a fabulous job installing our new Pella sliding doors! Quality work and very efficient and clean. I am very happy with my new Pella doors and Dennis and his crew’s installation.
