I took my 30 year old chainsaw in for service,they told me that it was a broken fly wheel,and they had ordered part.one month later they said service department had not ordered part .Another month later I was told the part was not available and they could not repair it.I took the saw to Jordon mowers. One week later my saw was repaired.It was not a broken fly wheel, just new dogs in the pull start and a tune up. the charge was 1/2 of Phersons estimate. Last week the weather was nice enough that I thought I'd till my garden. When the tiller wouldn't stay running for more than a few minutes, I decided it needed carburetor work and took it to Pehrson's. It was ready a week later. The gas tank was empty(it was full when I took it in), so I took it home, filled it up and started it. Seemed fine. Shut it off and went to turn on water so I could till the next day. Bought a snowblower from them 3 years ago. First year it worked well, so I brought it back the next year to have a pre winter tuneup. The machine quit after the first snow. Brought it back and they had it almost all winter. They never called to said it was finished. Finally picked it up and it still failed to run smoothly. This year I had the same problem….they tell me….bad gas….I can get you a deal on a new carb…rush repair…! Really…after three years I guess I need a new carb! UPDATE: After speaking with the manager, he was very apologetic and gave us a discount. However We will not be returning unless the employees are replaced with competent, respectful staff. I work for a small tree trimming business and we were in the market for a good company to get our saws fixed, we tend to get to know our mechanics VERY well. I have had 2 very bad experiences with Pehrson's. I took in a snow blower that would not start and it was during the winter. They told me it would be 10 days and they would call me after they had looked at it. I called after 14 days cause I hand not herd from them. They told me they could not find my snow blower and did not have a ticket order for my item. They told me they would call when they find it, 3 days later they called and said they found it and it might take a few days but would let me know when it was ready to pic... read more

The first time I had walked into Pehersons power products I was looking for a lawn mower, I was instantly greeted and helped. They listened and knew exactly what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction of one that was within my budget.

i was a first time customer and i was happy to walk in and to be greeted with one of the employees with a smile on there face and they helped me right a was with what i need and they also fixed my mower and it is working better than it was wen i got it :)

I have been a customer of Pehrson's for many years. I buy all my equipment from them as well as have them tune up and repair everything. They have always been honest and reliable and have gone out of their way more than once to help me out. The owner even came to my house personally to tune up my lawn mower when I was too pregnant to leave the house. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Ten days ago I brought my parents lawn mower in because we couldn't get it started and was told they could do a tune up but it would take 7-10 days. I left the mower and my mother followed up 10 days later at which point she learned there were still 8 mowers ahead of ours and it hadn't even been started. She took the mower with her, was completely unimpressed with the professionalism (I was never given a quote for the tune-up or even helped with my mower) and complete lack of customer service.
