I will be forever grateful to the PICU team at Erlanger Children’s Hospital. They saved my baby’s life. On top of that, they took great care of him and our family in our most difficult time. I truly felt like a part of his care team; they listened and included me in every step and intervention. Finally being discharged after almost a month was bittersweet - we were glad to be coming home but will miss the amazing people who cared for us so well. They are all the best people when you’re in the worst place.
Nurses not very kid friendly. One nurse just tossed medication syringes on my child's bed along with alcohol swabs. Left blood in a cup. Tossing syringes anywhere. Just gross. One nurse left needle in son's IV after giving medication. One nurse hardly came in his room to check on him I had to keep calling front desk. Just unprofessional.
