Dr. Akhter is the best pediatrician of TN. He is the right person in the right profession. His knowledge of pediatrics is infinite.
Dr. Akhter and his staff are great! Very caring, knowledgeable, friendly. I've been taking my 2 granddaughters there for over 4 1/2 yrs, one happens to be special with down syndrome and they are great with them, the girls love Dr. Akhter. I drive an hour each way to take them to him and it's well worth it! Office hrs are great and are seen the same day most of the time. He knows what he's doing with kids, I'd trust him with all the kids I know. Very thorough unlike a lot of doctors.
