Would NOT recommend! RATING: 1 STAR!!!! (would not allow me to click anything below 4 stars!) We have gone to Pediatric Care of York since my daughter was born (4 years ago). The waiting rooms and offices are very clean. I like that there is a separate waiting room for the sick children. The office hours are also very nice, and they are always open for emergencies. However I have had such bad experiences with their doctors that it highly outweighs the good. The nurses at the front office seem to be rude (as others have menti... read more
Rude treatment I just got off the phone with Dr. O'Brian, and I don't recall the last time I've been spoken to so rudely. I was told my daughter should have gone to school today, even though he hadn't seen her. After talking to me like I was a complete idiot he hung up on me. I will NEVER allow Dr. O'Brian to treat either of my children after his treatment to me on the phone.
Pediatric Care of York sure doesn't care I switched to PCY from my family doctor at the recommendation of a long time friend. What a disappointment! My daughter had a cold and was wheezing terribly. My husband called to schedule an appointment for her at 8:30 am and was told she could not be seen until 9:30 pm. I called my family doctor and asked to switch her back and they told me to bring her in immediately and when I asked if I needed an appointment they said no to rush her in if she was having breathing difficulties...ye... read more
Poor Bedside Manner I have not had good experiences with Dr. Johnson. When I was younger, I saw him for routine gynecological care because I didn't know enough to expect better. He has improved his bedside manner through the years, but it still leaves a lot to be desired. Twice when I was expecting, he recommended c-sections for my children. He managed to scare me both times, telling me all of the things that could go wrong if I tried to deliver without a c-section. Fortunately for me, both children came so quickly that c-se... read more

Can't keep track of appointments. I took my daughter in today for her 4 month appointment, which was set in October at her two month appointment. We were told when we got there that we weren't logged for an appointment, and asked if we had our appointment card. Never in my life have I needed or known of anyone needing an appointment card to verify an appointment. Furthermore, they have a copy of my daughter's insurance card, but still require it to be produced at every appointment. Now, even though we will never be going bac... read more
Broken Leg Dr Bischoff did a wonderful job with my daughter when she broke her leg. He explained everything to her as he set her leg and placed a cast on. I would recommend him for any child with broken bone!

Pediatric Care of York-Shrewsbury location I have been very happy with all of the pediatricians/nurses and receptionists at the Shrewsbury office!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great, warm, caring staff to take their child(ren) to.We have moved out of state, and I reluctantly have had to take our child to another pediatric practice that is closer to our home.
