Great Pediatric office! My children have been patients at PCY for the past 12 years. We are very satisfied with their service. The doctors are all top notch and the support staff are great. They are always so good about getting my kids into appointments, even as late as 11 pm at night. I have always referred my friends to these pediatricians because I really believe in them! I trust in there abilities as doctors and nurses. When I'm anxious about illnesses, they are always very calming. They do a super job!!
horrible front desk Doctors have been adequate, but again the front office staff is really poor- I too am in the medical profession and there is no excuse for allowing such substandard front office people to continue working there.
A Pleasure I would like to express what a pleasure it is to take my children to Pediatric Care of York. I frequent the Shrewsbury office (sometimes too much with 3 kids) and It just seems to be getting better with each visit. Rude treatment I just got off the phone with Dr. O'Brian, and I don't recall the last time I've been spoken to so rudely. I was told my daughter should have gone to school today, even though he hadn't seen her. After talking to me like I was a complete idiot he hung up on me. I will NEVER allow Dr. O'Brian to treat either of my children after his treatment to me on the phone.
pediatricians My daughter has been a patient for 8 years. Every doctor we have seen at this office has been great. They always answer all of my questions and their examination is always thorough. The office stays open until the last patient leaves which is usually long after office hours.
Best Medical Practice I have found! Pediatric Care of York is one of the best Doctor's offices that I have found for my children. The staff are very nice and helpful, along with the doctors. My four sons have been going to Pediatric Care of York since they were toddlers. I have always had nothing, but the best of care for my children. Would never go again We had taken our 3 month old baby here for a cold, after the doctor spent all of 2 minutes in the room he gave us a referral to have chest xrays done. Being new parents and being told the whole time during pregnancy that xrays are not good for a baby we decided to get a second opinion, which the other doctor said the same thing so we went and had them done. Horrible experience with Dr. O'brien Don't bring your children here!!! My 5 yr old son was seen by Dr. O'brien for stitches and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I went home traumatized. He was completely unprofessional, & rude to his own staff (which made me very nervous). Then, he was incredibly rude and demeaning to me when I requested that he give me a note on how to care for my sons stitches (this dr office does NOT properly equip parents). Wrong Vaccine-Beware!! I have the unfortunate situation where my 18 mo old child received the WRONG vaccination. They were given meningitis instead of MMR. Needless to say both my husband and just about everyone I've run into has been completely shocked. Added to this stress was a visit today where my child has a rash all over their body. This comes two weeks after a follow up appt to receive the right immunization.
