Would never go again We had taken our 3 month old baby here for a cold, after the doctor spent all of 2 minutes in the room he gave us a referral to have chest xrays done. Being new parents and being told the whole time during pregnancy that xrays are not good for a baby we decided to get a second opinion, which the other doctor said the same thing so we went and had them done. Horrible experience with Dr. O'brien Don't bring your children here!!! My 5 yr old son was seen by Dr. O'brien for stitches and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I went home traumatized. He was completely unprofessional, & rude to his own staff (which made me very nervous). Wrong Vaccine-Beware!! I have the unfortunate situation where my 18 mo old child received the WRONG vaccination. They were given meningitis instead of MMR. Needless to say both my husband and just about everyone I've run into has been completely shocked. Added to this stress was a visit today where my child has a rash all over their body. This comes two weeks after a follow up appt to receive the right immunization. Best Medical Practice I have found! Pediatric Care of York is one of the best Doctor's offices that I have found for my children. The staff are very nice and helpful, along with the doctors. My four sons have been going to Pediatric Care of York since they were toddlers. I have always had nothing, but the best of care for my children. May not want to come Extremely unprofessional and downright RUDE individuals in the billing office, specifically Candy. They also implented a practice now that if your insurance has not paid a claim by the end of the month, they charge YOU a 10.00 fee for it and will continue to do so until your insurance has paid it. As far as I know, you do not recieve that money back once your insurance has paid. horrible front desk Doctors have been adequate, but again the front office staff is really poor- I too am in the medical profession and there is no excuse for allowing such substandard front office people to continue working there.

Caring My doctor was not open on a Saturday, so I was referred to Dr. Shute. She is very nice and her staff was too. If I didn't already have a family doctor, I would happily go to her.
Pediatric Care of York Support staff is rude I've been pleased with most of the doctors, but the support staff is very unprofessional. As a RN myself, I am shocked at how cold the nurses are. I have very well behaved, polite children and the nurses do not even speak to them except to bark orders at them. One of the receptionist at the desk is always loudly complaining about everything. I wish there were more options in the area.
