Best Medical Practice I have found! Pediatric Care of York is one of the best Doctor's offices that I have found for my children. The staff are very nice and helpful, along with the doctors. My four sons have been going to Pediatric Care of York since they were toddlers. I have always had nothing, but the best of care for my children. May not want to come Extremely unprofessional and downright RUDE individuals in the billing office, specifically Candy. They also implented a practice now that if your insurance has not paid a claim by the end of the month, they charge YOU a 10.00 fee for it and will continue to do so until your insurance has paid it. As far as I know, you do not recieve that money back once your insurance has paid. horrible front desk Doctors have been adequate, but again the front office staff is really poor- I too am in the medical profession and there is no excuse for allowing such substandard front office people to continue working there.
Pediatric Care of York Support staff is rude I've been pleased with most of the doctors, but the support staff is very unprofessional. As a RN myself, I am shocked at how cold the nurses are. I have very well behaved, polite children and the nurses do not even speak to them except to bark orders at them. One of the receptionist at the desk is always loudly complaining about everything. I wish there were more options in the area.
Would NOT recommend! RATING: 1 STAR!!!! (would not allow me to click anything below 4 stars!) We have gone to Pediatric Care of York since my daughter was born (4 years ago). The waiting rooms and offices are very clean. I like that there is a separate waiting room for the sick children. The office hours are also very nice, and they are always open for emergencies. Rude treatment I just got off the phone with Dr. O'Brian, and I don't recall the last time I've been spoken to so rudely. I was told my daughter should have gone to school today, even though he hadn't seen her. After talking to me like I was a complete idiot he hung up on me. I will NEVER allow Dr. O'Brian to treat either of my children after his treatment to me on the phone.
Pediatric Care of York sure doesn't care I switched to PCY from my family doctor at the recommendation of a long time friend. What a disappointment! My daughter had a cold and was wheezing terribly. My husband called to schedule an appointment for her at 8:30 am and was told she could not be seen until 9:30 pm. I called my family doctor and asked to switch her back and they told me to bring her in immediately and when I asked if I needed an appointment they said no to rush her in if she was having breathing difficulties...ye... read more
Pediatric Care of York-Shrewsbury location I have been very happy with all of the pediatricians/nurses and receptionists at the Shrewsbury office!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great, warm, caring staff to take their child(ren) to.We have moved out of state, and I reluctantly have had to take our child to another pediatric practice that is closer to our home.
