Dr Pennington is a caring compassionate, considerate physician who has the rare quality of treating his patients as human beings and as intelligent adults. He is respectful of their opinions, experiences, and lifestyle choices. He never comes across as having all the answers or as having better things to do than addressing patients' questions. He did surgery on me about ten years ago and totally fixed my problem, and I have seen him off and on about other issues and always remembers who I am.
Caring and compassionate doctor. Two experiences with Dr. Pennington.., 1) broken ankle - treatment was superb! 2) Had to have a shot in my knee... I was scared to death. To be truthful, I hardly felt a thing!!! Could barely walk when I went into his office, BUT walked out just fine. I have a meniscus tear and we decided to try a steroid shot instead of jumping into surgery. I liked his conservative opinion instead of surgery.
Dr. Pennington is one of the best doctors I've been to. He was able to explain to me what was happening and how to move forward in a clear and understanding way, as well as put me at ease during a stressful time. I would suggest him to anyone seeking orthopedic help, he and his staff are really wonderful. Overall great experience!
Amazing. I tore my ACL and MCL in June. Dr. Pennington preformed surgery on July 6, 2016 to replace my ACL. After just 5 months of PT at their clinic, I am back to normal. Full range of motion in my knee. I have had no pain and the surgery was very easy. Because of Dr. Pennington's skill, proficiency and expertise I'm confident my recovery has been such a success.
I had a rotator cuff repair and it could not have gone better. I was back on the golf course before all my other friends who had similar repairs with other doctors. Highly recommend Dr Pennington. Good, strong Christian man who truly cares for his patients.
Dr. Pennington preformed shoulder surgery on me after a rotator cuff tear. I was nervous, to say the least, as this was my first time ever needing surgery. Dr. Pennington and his staff made the whole process so simple by explaining every step of the process. They comforted my nerves and put me at ease with their caring nature. The outcome was exceptional. I am back to my normal self and I'm very thankful for their great work.
Dr Pennington was really terrific. He took time with me and explained everything and I didn't feel like he was rushing me into surgery like so many others. When I did have surgery, he did an excellent job and gave me my mobility back. I can comb my hair and tie my tie! I would highly recommend him to anyone.
